As we approach halfway through the year, I always find June the perfect time for a little reflection. After all, it’s such a valuable way of working out what has worked well, bringing those ideas forward for the second part of the year.
Of course, the new seasons ahead will bring quite a difference, but having said that, we have just experienced a new record temperature already in the latter part of May!
It was wonderful to receive the thank you message from one of my latest wedding headwear commissions, creating my client a fascinator to complement her beautiful outfit for a very special day. The positive feedback of descriptive words such as stunning, amazing and gorgeous by on lookers brought about a rather large smile for me, a Yorkshire Milliner.
With the extra warm sunshine at venues such as York Minister to destinations abroad, the fascinator remains a good choice when wearing it well. Who was to know the sunshine would be guaranteed throughout the Spring Bank holiday here in Yorkshire. Alas, I can really take no credit!
Complimenting colour choice of the wedding outfit, along with colour matching are major ingredients for the Millinery journey.
My new project is now well on its way, with the final finishing touches to be added to make the difference. Positive vibes from the lovely long days provide a welcome bonus. That’s the good thing about reflection; it helps us move on with more ease.
